ABOUT ESMÉ
“All I want in this life is more people outside and in touch with their bodies, discovering how the world is full of awe, wonder and play.”
I am a facilitator, educator, designer and space-holder dedicated to guiding children to discover and adults to restore their sense of awe and wonder. Drawing from a diverse background in community engagement, environmental advocacy, and Forest School leadership, I have spent years addressing nature access and hosting eco-creative workshops across London and beyond.
A BELIEF
"The pause in life where you allow those moments to notice. The moment the wind whispers through willow leaves, a bumblebee frantically buzzing from flower to flower, or upturning a log to find a whole ecosystem living their own miniature life. How often do we allow?"

HER PRACTICE
Holding space for deep transformation.
Whether creating a workshop for a child exploring the woods or an adult remembering how to breathe and connect for an organisation campaign, I create a container for deep transformation, somatic exploration, and joyful reclamation of the natural world — one dance, one walk, and one deep breath at a time.
"By weaving my own unique magic into these spaces, I create nurturing environments that bridge movement, nature connection, and community."
Today, my work focuses on facilitating workshops and designing intentional play containers. Drawing from Forest School practice, 5Rhythms somatic movement, and years of eco-creative facilitation — every space I hold is designed to bring people back to themselves and to the living world around them.
MOVEMENT & SOMATICS
The body as the first nature.
Alongside my outdoor education practice, I hold a dedicated personal practice in 5Rhythms movement — a somatic movement meditation developed by Gabrielle Roth that uses the rhythms of the natural world as a map for moving through life.
This practice fuels my passion for deepening our somatic relationship with both our inner and outer nature. The body knows things the mind forgets. Getting outside, getting moving, and getting present are not separate practices — they are one.
This thread runs through everything I do: the way I hold a workshop, the way I open a women's circle, the way I design an event. It is always an invitation back into the body, back into the senses, back into the wild self.
WAYS OF THE WILD
Nature access for everyone.
In 2022 Esmé co-founded Ways of the Wild — a London initiative dedicated to reconnecting city dwellers with nature through events, workshops, and community building.
The project addressed something Esmé had witnessed throughout her work: that access to green space, outdoor education, and nature connection is deeply unequal in urban environments. Ways of the Wild set out to change that — one London park, one community workshop, one wild gathering at a time.
"The wild should belong to everyone — not just people who grew up near it."
Ways of the Wild built a community of London city dwellers discovering — many for the first time — what it feels like to be genuinely outside.
