AUTHOR VISITS & TALKS
In a classroom,
on a stage,
in a library.
Whether I'm reading Willow's story to a room full of six-year-olds or talking to a school assembly about pitching tarpaulins in the rain — I bring the natural world into the room with me. Properly, not as a slideshow.

LIVE READING & PERFORMANCE
Through the Eyes
of a Tree
45 minutes — 1 hour+
I read my own picture book live — but this isn't a sit-down, listen-quietly kind of experience. It's movement, interactive animals, nature education and games, with Willow the tree as your guide.
Children meet the creatures that live in her shade, learn how a tree breathes and feels the seasons change, and end up on their feet playing, making, and seeing the world outside their classroom window completely differently.
Signed copies of the book are available on the day.

TALK & SPEAKER
30 minutes — 1 hour
From film sets
to festival fields.
I've worked on film sets, run workshops in festival fields, and spent more time than I'd like pitching up tarpaulins in the pouring rain wondering why I didn't just get an office job. This talk takes people through what an outdoor life actually looks like.
The muddy, brilliant, occasionally freezing reality of working outside — and why I wouldn't change a second of it. A good one for anyone who needs reminding that the most interesting things happen when you step outside.
